Cabernet(VFM154) as born January 22, 2009 in the Frisky Mob. His mother was Bootle and his father was Gazebo. Cabernet was born in a large litter of five pups, his litter-mates were his four sisters named Merlot(VFM153), Sauvignon(VFF155), Shiraz(VFF156) and Muscat(VFF157). Cabernet was the only male in the litter. Since his mother and father were the dominant pair, Cabernet's litter were the main focus of the Frisky. Sadly in May 2009 Sauvignon disappared and was assumed predated. The rest of the litter survived to adulthood. In February 2010 Bootle died, Quaver assumed dominance. Cabernet started to help out around the mob and like all young males, he soon started to take an interest in roving.
