The Prime Minister (Premier Ministre) of Rildanor is the Head of Government (Président du gouvernement), and thus chairs the cabinet. Before 3605, the Premier Ministre, in line with the parliamentary system of Rildanor, is appointed by the monarch to an individual who enjoys the confidence of the Assemblée Nationale. However, from 3605 onwards, the Premier Ministre is elected by popular vote. This person is almost always the leader of a political party or the leader of the senior party in a coalition.

To impeach the Premier Ministre, an early election request must be passed by the Assemblée nationale and submitted to the electorate to decide if they want the Premier Ministre to stay or he/she be replaced by the winning opponent in the early elections.
