Senator Drummond knew his escapades at the Red One Motel entailed certain risks. But he always thought the worst that could happen would be for a reporter to catch him in a “tête à tête” with Vivian. But as it turned out, he couldn't have been more wrong! The gist of his next speech is along the lines of “Vote for me or I’ll beat you to a pulp!”

- One of the early engines of the Fat Director's Railway based with Chelsea at Vicarstown. Drummond, named after his designer who later went to the London and South Western Railway, was built to work as a mixed traffic engine in Scotland. The Fat Director purchased him to help with the goods traffic and was proven to be a useful engine. However, before nationalisation of British Railways commenced, Drummond was withdrawn and later was sadly scrapped. Drummond is based on a GSWR Mogul.
- Drummond was a solicitor who had among his clients Blanche Hunt at the time of her death in May 2010. On 14th May that year, Drummond went to 1 Coronation Street to read out her will to her beneficiaries. He was slightly confused by Blanche's wording in the will, which contained accusations and putdowns of her family, typical of Blanche's manner in real life. Drummond was credited as "Mr Drummond".
