Starting 36th in the field of thirty-seven, Foushee completed all but eight laps in route to a solid 16th place finish. Unfortunately, he didn't fare so well the rest of the year, finishing 28th at Darlington and 35th at Rockingham. Foushee's other four races came during the 1986 season, again coming at the Southeastern tracks. Foushee ran very well, finishing no worse than 22nd and recording no DNFs during the year. However, he earned just one top-twenty: a career-best 15th place showing at Bristol. He closed his career out with a 21st at Rockingham.
