Queenslie was a housing estate in the east end of Glasgow, lying between Cranhill, Barlanark, Springboig, Easterhouse and Garthamlock. It was split into a small housing scheme and an industrial estate. The housing estate was used to accommodate overspill from inner Glasgow but was demolished in the early 1990s - made unpopular by isolation and lack of amenities. The area is still wasteground at the time of writing (August 2007) although the industrial estate is still occupied.
