However, thanks to the rise of the Galactic Empire, it was never completed and Brath Qella went unexplored for over a century. The mission had reported Brath Qella as a temperate world, with a population of seven million, and a primary ecosystem rated provisionally at complexity two. However when the planet was revisited in 16 ABY, a third of the planet's landmass was glaciated and its people were gone.
