  • The Death God's Vault contains much of the collected knowledge and treasures of Myrkul, the former God of the Dead. This vault was built in Shadow Mulsantir for secrecy and privacy. Shortly following Myrkul's death at the hands of Mystra, Cyric's faithful stormed Death God's Vault, slaying all of Myrkul's followers. The vault was used to store not only all the ledgers of Myrkul's scribes, but also prisoners. These prisoners included enemies of the faith, made to "disappear," as well assorted violent criminals sent by the Witches of Rashemen be disposed of as per the temple's term of agreements. The bodies of those who died were sent to the Crematorium, where their ashes - and spirits - would remain.
