On the planet Glacies, the Sith Empire discovered a massive level of Lightsaber crystals found on the planet including rare Lignan ore, discovered deposits of Lignan ore were placed under strict guard by the Dark Council which only the most loyal and successful Sith would be allowed to enter into those caves to get a Lignan ore to create their personal Lignan crystal. By 1,000 BBY they had fully consolidated their power in the Corcordis system and began to launch their takeover of the rest of the Erebos sector, within a century or two the Corcordis system had become the capital of the entire sector, the planet Corcordis becoming the planetary capital of the sector.
