Benjamin Beardmore Evans (1870 - 6 February 1915) was a businessman, justice of the peace and local politician. He was twice a Progressive Party member of the London County Council from 1910-1914. In 1910 he was elected as a councillor for Shoreditch (Hoxton) and in 1913 for Tower Hamlets (Limehouse), sensationally defeating the leader of the majority Municipal Reform Party, Cyril Jackson.

He was twice a Progressive Party member of the London County Council from 1910-1914. In 1910 he was elected as a councillor for Shoreditch (Hoxton) and in 1913 for Tower Hamlets (Limehouse), sensationally defeating the leader of the majority Municipal Reform Party, Cyril Jackson. He resigned from the council on 15 December 1914 due to ill health, having suffered partial paralysis due to diptheria. He died from an apparent accidental gunshot wound at his home in Pinner, Middlesex, aged 45.
