Aiena was a very powerful Taathian San Elf Runemage. Though 600 years old, obese and unattractive, she was extremely capable in combat, and could (for instance) kill a large drake with a single touch. For the most part, she was seen in Spur only occasionally, as her wars and schemes were on a grand rather than a local scale, often involving the whole of Aradath. Aiena ascended to goddesshood (some say with Taath's aid, others say in betrayal of him) and defeated Sa in battle, thus destroying the old Runemagick. She herself was then slain by the Saian Kralen. There exists within the Taathian faith a cult of Aiena, which holds that the goddess will return.
