| - Sword Knight is a tiny soldier armed with a sword. He wears a purple suit of armor that includes a long helmet with four ridges on its top, an open visor, and large shoulder pads. White-gloved arms emerge from underneath Sword Knight's shoulder pads. The enemy's body is slightly egg-shaped, and is usually blue. Sword Knight wears a brownish belt with a silver buckle, as well as purple boots resembling those of Meta Knight. Sword Knight's sword is silver, with a straight golden grip. The sword features a pair of prongs jutting out from its edges.
- This Gotcha Borg is warrior in the Knight Borg corps. He is a master of chivalry and is always polite! He can protect against any frontal attack with his CROSS-SHAPE SLASH!
- Sword Knights first appeared in Kirby's Adventure for the NES. Here they try to cut Kirby with their swords and can also block most projectiles thrown at them. Kirby gets the Sword ability when he swallows one. Blade Knight, a similar foe, also makes his first appearance in this game. Both knights behave the same way.
- The Sword Knight (剣騎士ソードナイト Soodo naito) is a horse-mounted combat physical class of knights who ride into battle wielding Swords. First introduced into the series in Path of Radiance, the Sword Knight class is one of two classes that the classic Cavalier class is split into, the other being the Lance Knight class. Upon promotion, Sword Knights are upgraded into Paladins in Path of Radiance and Blade Paladins in Radiant Dawn.
- Knight of Swords is a tarot card from the minor arcana Suit of Swords. It tends to represent a confident and articulate young man who may act impetuously. The Knight, though visionary, is unrealistic. He fights bravely, but foolishly. In some illustrations he is shown to have forgotten his armor or his helmet. A 'rush to battle' is a possibility with this warrior.
