During a span from 1993 to 2010, the Badgers have appeared in 16 bowl games in 18 years. Wisconsin also won several Big Ten conference championships in the late 19th and early 20th century, including the very first Big Ten championship in 1896. The Badgers have also experienced periods of futility, especially during the late 1960s and 1970s.
