The Thyrullian Supernova was what consumed Terraklon Six and left the Terraklon race without a homeworld. Because of this, they were allowed out of Zordoom Prison to search for a new place to live. Only Flint Vorselon, who was serving a life sentence, remained imprisoned; despite this, he later escaped. Oddly enough, in Ratchet: Deadlocked, Ace Hardlight was said to have saved various peoples of the Thyrullian Galaxy. This seems to show that the Thyrullian Supernova originated from the Thyrullian Galaxy. This likely caused way more destruction since it destroyed Terraklon Six which was in the Polaris Galaxy.
