  • * This is American Dad's fifth Christmas episode. The first four being "The Best Christmas Story Never", "The Most Adequate Christmas Ever", "Rapture's Delight", and "For Whom the Sleigh Bell Tolls". * Although this episode is appears to be set before the events in "Rapture's Delight", Jeff Fischer was not present in that previous episode. * This is the second time that Stan dresses as Santa Claus, the first being "The Most Adequate Christmas Ever". * Francine mentions that Muhammad Ali became Kareem Abdul-Jabbar after changing religions. In reality, Cassius Clay became Muhammad Ali and Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor, Jr. became Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. * This is the third time that Hayley shoots Stan with a gun after "Stannie Get Your Gun" and "Haylias". * Unlike his Family Guy Italian counterpart, American Dad's Pope is a fairly faithful likeness to Pope Benedict XVI. * The chart that shows the people who are excommunicated from the church includes Andy Dick and Seth MacFarlane. * After Roger sprays Steve with the pesticide, he drops between Roger and Stan. When the camera cuts back from Nemo scaling the fence, Steve is gone. Stan is later surprised to see Steve alive and was unaware of his disappearance.
