March 20-23, 2009: American forces are able to capture Santa Clara in the 21st, and Cienfuegos in the 23rd.American forces suffer medium casualties, and Americans back in the mainland protest against the war. March 24th, 2009: The World placed their eyes on the UN with their votes. The majority voted alongside the United States, and joined the war against Cuba. March 25th-April 3, 2009: American forces capture the city of Trinidad on the 30th with heavy casualties, as Cuban civilians pick up any weapons they find and defend themselves. A British, French, Canadian, and Spanish amphibious assault is made on April 1st, where they are able to capture Guantanamo and Baracoa. They also suffer heavy casualties. April 4th, 2009: Canadian and British forces attack the city of Santiago de Cuba, where they fight street-to-street combat against the Cuban civilians. The Cuban military launches a couple of raids against the American troops, most of them being successful. April 5-10, 2009: American forces capture the 2 cities of Morón and Ciego de Avila. The "Allied" forces are able to reach the cities of Bayamo and Holguín on the 10th, despite the guerrilla attacks. April 6-8, 2009: Allied forces are able to capture the cities of Bayamo and Holguín with medium casualties. With intelligence that Raul is in their last city, Camagüey, the Allies plan a combined assault on the city, while US marines make an amphibious assault on the city of Isla de la Juventud. April 9-10, 2009: Raul Castro is captures in the Isla de la Juventud, and is taken to the USA. With Cuba's surrender, it becomes a colony of the US.
