Earlier in his life, Hazuki travelled to Meng Cun and killed a man called Zhao Sun Ming. He also obtained the Dragon Mirror at some point. In 1986, Hazuki lived in Dobuita with his son and his housekeeper, Ine. The head of the house ran a martial arts class in which he taught his student, Fuku, how to defend himself. However, one day, Hazuki was forced into battle with Lan Di over possession of the Dragon Mirror. With nobody to help him, Hazuki was easily bested by Lan Di's superior martial arts skills and was hit by a killer blow in the chest. Hazuki quickly died in Ryo's arms.
