The black halo was the remnant of a star—which the planet Kashi once orbited—which went supernova around 25,053 BBY. Prior to this event, it was referred to as the Kashi System. It was located at S-7 on the Galactic grid. Formerly located in Hutt Space, the Hutts eventually drew back their borders.
