About: Lava Monster (Rock Raiders)   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

Lava Monsters are Rock Raider minifigures. They did not appear in any of the sets. Lava Monsters are similar to Rock Monsters, except that they are colored molten-red with rocky-colored "spots". They also have tusks, a feature that Rock Monsters lack. They can be found in the underground lava caverns on Planet U. They dislike Ice Monsters, and the two tend to fight. In the PC game, the Lava Monsters are, unlike Rock and Ice Monsters, resistant to Laser Beams, but are more vulnerable to Pusher beams than other monsters. Strangely, Lava Monsters do not appear in the NTSC version of the PS1 game.
