While the ship flew through the galaxy at lightspeed, the dark apprentice decided to meditate and gather his energies. Asking the nearest officer where the cargo hold is, he was informed that the nearest hold was several floors down. Walking into a different elevator than the one he arrived in, he selected the desired dial and whoosed downward through the floors until arriving at his destination. Moving through the reopened doors he found the cargo hold and sat down to meditate by activating one of the lightsabers at his waist. When Lord Starkiller had inquired about the multiple lightsabers before him, the Emperor replied,

When Lord Starkiller had inquired about the multiple lightsabers before him, the Emperor replied, "They once belonged to the enemies of the Empire, now they are yours to use in the extermination of the rest of them." He did not question any further. The blade he was staring into was a lush green, which reminded him of several planets that the Empire's orbiting superweapon had passed, although he could not recall their names. He tried to remain focused, keep all thoughts out of his head, as he had done many times before. He simply sat there, eyes blank, locked with the blade before him, legs crossed and cargo all around. He simply sat there for hours, although to him it was only a few minutes, when a loud whine blasted through the hold and multiple red lights turned on. An intercom blared, "All hands to battle stations, we have hard contact. Repeat. All hands to battle stations, we have hard contact!" Rushing back into the elevator and up into the observation deck, he found the station in a very different state than it was before. Everyone was running to and from computer screens, people were shouting orders as if it was for simply anyone who would listen. Basically it was something Sidious would've called "organized chaos". Looking out the observation window, Lord Starkiller saw a small CR90 corvette moving at a 45 degree angle away from Starkiller's perspective. The corvette was firing a single dual turbolaser located just aft of the cockpit area. In return, the Imperial I-class was firing off it's eleven heavy turbolasers. The corvette's small laser cannon was no match for the large armarmant of weapons and after a sad attempt at escape, the "blockade runner", as it was sometimes nicknamed, stopped after its engiene's failed with a well-aimed shot to the vessel. Feeling several consecutive waves of vibrations roll through the ship, he saw boarding pods float toward the corvette and slam into the bulkhead. "Move the ship toward the cruiser and establish a link between us and the Rebels," he ordered the captain. "But," Wermis stammered, "That would be putting us in a vulnerable position to counterattack." "The saftey of the ship is not my concern, the schematics and that senator are our only concerns." With a loud gulp the captain responded, "Yes, my Lord." Turning around in a Empirial officer fashion, he walked toward the center of the deck and routed a course toward the downed blockade runner. Remembering his master's orders, he requested the location of the 501st's boarding squad from a much younger officer than the last one, barely having any facial hair yet. I wonder what I did when I was that young? Lord Starkiler thought to himself, I wonder what I looked like, what I did, what made me laugh, what made me cry? Then he told himself to remain in the present and focus on the task before him. The young officer directed him ten floors down and then offered the apprentice an escort, but he refused, using the Force to find the particular hangar in which the 501st were readying their ships. Entering the elevator again he decended through the levels until arriving at his destination. Walking into the hanger, he was met with two paralell lines of stormtroopers flanking on both sides standing at attention. I guess I'm expected, he thought to himself as he walked between the lines of troopers. At the end of the line was a man with a tall, stocky build, dressed in a standard Imperial officer uniform with a line of red and yellow dashes on his right shoulder denoting his status as such. "My Lord, we've been expecting you. I assume you will be leading us in the attack on the Tantive IV?" "Yes, order your men to prepare for launch." "Yes, my Lord." Rasing his voice for his squad to hear, the officer shouted, "All units, prepare for launch in ten minutes."
