Masters of Pillaging was founded on April 4th, 2006 when Llamag left the crew shadow sailers and Minionman Left the crew vini vidi vici and multiple other crews because he believed that the rules for alot of the other crews were too strict. Llamag had been the one to purchase the ship, but minionman had actually bought the captians badge. Llamag and minionman became good friends for a few months before deciding to start a crew. At first the crew shifted between many flags and many name changes one of them including LMB and finally settled in the flag Rebellion. The crew was quickly growing and reached 100 members in a matter of weeks but was still a considerably small crew with only a few ships.

After a while Masters of Pillaging reached a high point of 125 members until crew fights broke out between Minionman and BigJesusFreak the fight was short but ended in the break up of the crew and minionman ship-less and bigjesusfreak banned and excluded from minionman & llamags plans. After this a small number of flags took on this crew. It jumped from flag to flag, mostly staying with Rebellion. After a while BigjesusFreak was forgiven but was banned from any ranks higher than pirate. Later on the crew name was changed to darkened pirates. Llamag and Minionman founded a crew shortly after that lasted no more than a few weeks, After the fallout of this crew Llamag & Minionman joined the crew Guardians of Honor.
