| - Power Rangers In Space is an unofficial series of Power Rangers created by Sonic Flash. It happens in a PR universe where no other Power Rangers ever existed.
- As with all Power Rangers programs, Power Rangers in Space is based on one of the entries of the Super Sentai series; in this case, the source series is Denji Sentai Megaranger. However, due to miscommunication between the United States and Japan as to the contents of the Sentai series, much of the space footage is original to the American adaptation. In Space was a turning point for the Power Rangers franchise, as the season brought closure to six seasons of plot, and it ended the practice of having regular cast members act in consecutive seasons. The theme of the series bears little similarity to its Sentai counterpart and its successor, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.
- The sixth season of Power Rangers, adapted from Denji Sentai Megaranger. Managing to save the series from cancellation, this is frequently cited as one of the best, if not the best, seasons of the franchise. For the first time, the series introduced a heavily serialized plot that built from episode to episode, featuring strong themes, characterizations and coming to an epic climax that gives a degree of finality to the previous six seasons. It also eschewed the Black and White Morality that was prominent in previous seasons by featuring morally conflicted heroes and sympathetic villains, also including three reunion episodes and plenty of cameos that kept the continuity extremely tight.
- Power Rangers In Space, often abbreviated as "PRIS" or simply referred to as "In Space", was the sixth season of Power Rangers. It used footage from the twenty-first Super Sentai series, Denji Sentai Megaranger, and was dubbed in South Korea as Megaranger (메가레인저 Megaleinjeo), taking after its Sentai counterpart.
