Herbert Marnham (1863-8 April 1935) was a stockbroker and local politician. Born in Mill Hill, in 1886 he joined the London Stock Exchange as a member of his father's firm. A member of the Baptist Church, he served as both treasurer and president of the Baptist Union. A resident of Hampstead, he was a member of the borough council, and served as Mayor of Hampstead in 1925-26. He was a noted philanthropist, and was a governor of Mill Hill School and of Mount Vernon Hospital. He died in Hampstead, aged 71, and was cremated at Golders Green Crematorium.
