| - Gifts of the Spirit of God, or spiritual gifts, are "supernatural abilit[ies] given by Christ through the Holy Spirit to the believer at the moment of his salvation."
- A Gift of the Holy Spirit is a supernatural power given to an individual or group at any time. The term gifts is used in preference to abilities when refereing to what someone has, in reference to that fact that all these things are very literally gifts from God (through the Holy Spirit), and not the result of the persons own powers or abilities. In Charismatic belief systems, these gifts are believed to still be accessible; however, in Cessationism beliefs, it is believed that the gifts were available during the time of Christ and are never or rarely seen in modern times.

According to Charismatic belief, any of the miracles performed by Jesus in the Bible can be performed by man today.
