  • Ingrid Nemeth was a member of Grantville's Pentecostal Church. She and her husband Paul were present in Reverend John Chalker's congregation during Dieter Fischer's introduction to their faith. One night, Paul Nemeth dreamed of his own death, a dream that also contained Fischer. Ingrid was concerned, seeing her husband's dream as a sort of prophecy. Additionally, Paul had been coughing unnaturally as of late. She recommended Paul see the doctor, who confirmed her worst fears: Paul was diagnosed with cancer. In September 1632, Ingrid and the other Pentecostals learned of Fischer's belief that he was driven by the Holy Ghost. She and the elders elected Fischer as the very first minister of the Pentecostal Church in the new universe and as well as Chief Minister of Down-timerOutreach. By October, Paul finally succumbed to the cancer. Many of the Pentecostal elders expected that Ingrid would quit her role as elder and take a full-time job to support her children. Ingrid in turn began tending an ill John Chalker, who was replaced by Fischer as the Church's most prominent figure. This article is a . You can help My English Wiki by expanding it.
