The 2010 Rally Sweden was the opening round of the 2010 World Rally Championship. It was run from the 12th to the 14th of February. The rally was won by the BP Ford driver Mikko Hirvonen who won by 42.3 seconds from the reigning champion Sebastien Loeb. The SWRC class was won by Per-Gunnar Andersson in his Skoda Fabia S2000. The PWRC class was won by Patrik Flodin in his Group N Subaru Impresa. This rally saw the first WRC appearance of Kimi Raikkonen, who took a year's sabbatical from Formula 1 to compete for the Citroen Junior Team. Also competing was Marcus Gronholm, who returned driving for the Stobart VK Ford Team. However, both hit major problems and were out of the top 20.
