When used depending on the sword used and the characters Strength stat it can do a large amount of damage it also chooses what enemy to hit by random in battles with multiple monsters,the big sword tech No Light Sword can be sparked from using Negative but only the Eastern Guard is capable of sparking such a tech making No Light Sword extreamly hard to get.

Mr. Snack liittyi yhteyeeseen kosketinsoittajaksi kesän 2004 jälkeen, vaikka oli jo jonkin aikaa ollut mukana keikoilla. Ensimmäinen albumi War of Love ilmestyi 28. maaliskuuta 2003. Lopulta kultaakin myyneen War of Loven menestyksen myötä Negative pääsi myös kiertämään tärkeimmät suomalaiset tanssilavat, klubit ja festivaalit. Toinen levy Sweet & Deceitful julkaistiin 1. syyskuuta 2004. Kappaleessa "Until You're Mine" vierailee Sentenced- ja Poisonblack-laulaja Ville Laihiala. Negativen kolmas pitkäsoitto, Anorectic, julkaistiin syksyllä 2006. Tammikuun 15. päivä 2008 Negative julkaisi nettisivuillaan tiedotteen, jossa kerrottiin Sir Christuksen erottamisesta. Syyksi mainitaan "Christuksen ja muiden bändiläisten kasvaneen erilleen", ja näin ollen bändin oli parempi jatkaa ilman Christusta. Sir Christuksen tilalle valittiin Technicolour-yhtyeestä tuttu Gary, joka soitti aluksi vain keikoilla komppakitaristina.Kesän festareiden jälkeen yhtye tuli tulokseen että on parempi jatkaa ilman Garyä. Lokakuussa 2008 julkaistun Dingo tribuuttialbumin toisena singlenä julkaistiin Negativen versio klassikkokappaleesta Sinä & Minä.
