| - December Patch Date - Link On Tuesday December 14th All worlds will be down from 7am - 11am Eastern for the December Update, Dead of Winter. -- 22:18, 11 December 2010 (EST) Luminance Issue - Link Recently we discovered an issue with Luminance that can allow some players to gain Luminance at a much faster rate than was intended. With the aid of our logging system, we are able to identify players that use this means to get ahead of where they should be. Any player we have identified as using this means to get ahead of where they should be will have their extra gained augmentation removed. Going forward, anyone caught doing this or communicating the steps to do it will also be subject to further disciplinary action (which could include, but is not limited to, account suspension). The issue will be resolved in the upcoming December update. November Patch Date - Link The November event From Darkness, Light, is scheduled to go live on Tuesday, November 30th. This time our move was for quite different reasons and had to do with Wikia's decision to seriously overhaul their default skin (which controls how the wiki is laid out and its appearance). Wikia also decided to make the skin mandatory and the major contributors to the wiki decided that the changes were fundamentally incompatible with the nature of our particular wiki. Wikia has always been a gracious and helpful host and we wish them well in the new direction they have decided to take their site, and regret that we cannot accompany them. The default skin is Vector, the same as used by Wikipedia. If you prefer the old look, you can set your skin to Monobook in your preferences after registering. The Developer Notes are also available including confirmation that Undead will be this month's new character race. -- 13:44, September 19, 2010 (UTC) Wikia will replace Monaco with a new default skin this fall. - Link Wikia has decided to move to a new custom skin this fall that will replace Monaco as the default skin for most Wikia wikis. Monaco will be supported for a time but will eventually be phased out completely. Monobook (which many ACCW readers use) will continue to be supported however there is no promise that it too will not be removed at some point. While the new skin is still being actively developed, you can get a first look here. If you would like to help beta test the skin and influence the final result you can apply here. They implemented some updates to the billing systems this week and are working to resolve all of the resultant problems for everyone. Turbine assures that the website issues are simply a display problem, which has no bearing on your actual account status. Also, your characters are all still there.
