A Deputy Governor is an elected official within each of the five states in Lovia. The office was created as a result of the 2010 State Reform. Deputy Governors have no actual, inherent power and are merely elected to assure a successor to the incumbent Governor without having to hold mid-term state elections. The term is frequently abbreviated to Dep, as opposed to Gov (Governor).
