  • Characters that can move at super speed can typically also heal at super speed.
  • Not to be confused with Super Mobility.
  • Superspeed is a Legacy that allows the user to sprint at superhuman speeds. Garde are naturally more enhanced than humans, meaning they have the innate ability to run faster, they are naturally stronger and their senses are more enhanced. Among the Garde, this legacy further increases ones speed.
  • Refers to characters (or races) so fast they only appear as a blur. * Leviathans - Leviathan can move incredibly fast. Dick was able to get from his top-floor office to the main floor, out the door and shot Bobby before him and the boys could leave in their car. * Acheri - A quite uncommon demon ability, acheri can move so fast it's almost as if they're shimmering from one place to another. * Ghosts - Ghosts can move from place to place at startling high speeds. * Leshi - Assuming the nature of a ghost, Leshi could move at startling fast speeds. * Mercury - He could move faster than the human eye. * Shtriga - Able to move at an incredible pace. * Eve - Eve could move at incredible speeds.
  • At Level 9, Super Speed characters have the ability to enable their inherent Super Speed, where the character is able to run much faster than the default speed, but is unable to attack in this mode. Inherent Super Speed can be enabled by clicking "NumLock" on the keyboard. There is also another ability purchased that transfers downward momentum into forward momentum while falling, which enhances the Super Jumping ability.
  • Super speed is the ability to move at superhuman speeds, often only appearing as a blur to others.
  • Super Speed is one of Palutena's Side Special Moves. Palutena's wings glow blue as she dashes forward, damaging anyone she hits.
  • Super Speed is the ability to move physically faster than normally possible. Some vampires are faster than others, as Ivan and the Count were faster than Boris, and Elizabeta was faster than Ingrid and Vlad. This is a common Vampire power.
  • Super speed is the ability to perform physical movements at impossibly high speeds.
  • The ability to move at extraordinary physical speed. Users can move much faster than the average member of their species, some near or at the speed of sound, or even faster. However, this power is not without any ill effects, as it can strain the body, although some users may be resistant or even immune to the effects of high speed travel, including friction, g-force, inertia, etc.
  • Super speed is a common superhero staple of a power. It can be derived from another power, such as super strength, or be one in itself. This power is possessed by Chip Cheetah.
  • All Kryptonians possess super-speed under a yellow sun, including Clark Kent. Super speed is one of the easiest Kryptonian powers to control; Clark Kent first displayed super speed at the age of 6 while playing tag (Smallville, season 1). The human Lana Lang also quickly mastered super-speed, after Clark's powers were transferred to her through electricity and kryptonite. Kryptonian super-speed can give out during solar flares. Other aliens species can often super speed. Aliens known to display super speed are Martian Manhunter, Maxima, Bizarro, and the Kryptonian computer Brainiac.

In the Golden Age comics, Superman couldn't exceed 60 miles per hour, outrunning the fastest trains; however, as his career continued, his speed increased exponentially. This is presumably due to the continued effects of the Photonucleic Effect, that is, the effects of prolongued exposure to the Earth's yellow sun on his body.
