The Giant Mole (Talpidae wysonian) is a female mole found in the Falador Mole Lair, just under Falador Park. Upon release, on 7 March 2006, "a slight accident involving a bottle of Malignius-Mortifer's-Super-Ultra-Flora-Growth-Potion" is the origin of the creation of the Giant Mole. When low on health, the mole will dig and reappear elsewhere within her cavern, making the fight potentially time-consuming. Players often kill the mole for her mole claws and mole skin, each of which Wyson the gardener will exchange for bird's nests, an item that is used in the Herblore skill.

Players will need a light source to access the location. Players are advised to be careful while fighting this monster as she may put out their light source. A seer's headband or bullseye lantern is strongly recommended, however a lantern with a tinderbox can also be used. To get into its lair you have to dig in any one of the 'mole hills' near Sir Tiffy Cashien in the Falador Park. When low on health, the mole will dig and reappear elsewhere within her cavern, making the fight potentially time-consuming. Players often kill the mole for her mole claws and mole skin, each of which Wyson the gardener will exchange for bird's nests, an item that is used in the Herblore skill.
