The Ukrainian presidential election of 2025 took place on August 2nd, 2025. President Yulia Tymoshenko of the Fatherland Party was able to be re-elected by a large margin against former Education and Science Minister Liliya Hrynevych of the People's Front Party, along with Independent former president, Petro Poroshenko. After the election, Hrynevych blamed her loss on Poroshenko's run and says if he didn't run she would have won. The total vote count was 28,380,719 people.
