The Energized Protodermis entity is a lifeform of unknown origin composed entirely of Energized Protodermis. It appeared out of nowhere and attempted to kill everyone, but eventually it was sent to the future. There, it somehow became a servant of the Legion Makuta. Its new purpose was to destroy all those not affiliated with the Legion. It tried doing that, but failed because everyone forgot they were fighting it, and it vanished into a plothole. It later reappeared during the Battle of Shinobi Nui, and tried to kill Ynot and Blade. However, Ynot sent it back in time to move the plot forward.
