The RG570 features a basswood body with a one-piece quartersawn maple neck attached with a tilt joint with a metal plate. The Wizard neck has a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. It has Ibanez V1 and V2 humbucking pickups flanking an Ibanez S1 single-coil which are mounted to the body with pickup rings. The bridge is the Lo-Pro Edge tremolo. Other components include a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. The RG570GF is a similar model with a gravure flame top and gold hardware. An updated RG570 was introduced in 1995 with the new All Access neck joint.
