Wikipedia was founded in 2002 in the Confederate States by government order as a counterweight to the Soviet-sponsored Proletarian Encylopedia. During the period from 2002 to 2004, Wikipedia was allowed to operate with minimal state involvement. However, during the Fourth World War, Wikipedia was subject to increased Confederate interference in regards to information presented, mandating a pro-Confederate bias in all articles. The Soviet Union was demonized, and the Confederacy and its allies were glorified.
