The Spear of Death is a throwing-spear owned by the Laibon of the Simbani tribe, and is renowned for both its presumed exceptional tactical utility as well as its cultural relevance as an artifact of the tribe. The Simbani suspect the Leopardmen of having stolen it, as the Leopardmen in turn suspect the Simbani of having stolen their Drum of Magic. The spear will temporarily be in the hero's possession as a result of happenings in the quest; trading it for the Drum of Magic as a Fighter, Paladin, or Magic User, or stealing it from the Leopardman Chief's hut as a Thief.
