About: Tire (Donkey Kong Country)   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

Tire's can be found in Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Land, which are bouncy and can be used to collect special items such as a banana bunch or Extra Life Balloons. There are two types of tires, the round kind which can be pushed around, or the half tire, which is embedded in the ground and can't be moved. Tires also appear in one level in Donkey Kong Country 2 in the Lost World called Jungle Jinx, where, instead of the small tires found in Donkey Kong Country there are huge tires that roll by themselves and are very bouncy, but could result in losing Extra Life Balloon or a Kong if the tires either push the kongs into a pit or a tire crushes a Kong as it falls from an elevated platform.
