Playing shows and going on tour was something that ANA's members loved and would give anything for. To them, there was nothing better then being on that stage and playing in front of tons of people. Although Apple Not Asteroid was never signed by a label, they did have a few offers from some small name labels in California. Unfortunately, it wasn't what the boys were looking for so they just kept playing shows for themselves and for a good time. In 2006 the boys of ANA reached over 100,000 plays on Myspace and were getting offered to play shows left and right after their tour through California. In 2007 the band released their third album "Kill the Lights". This album took a lot more time to make then their previous albums because the boys challenged themselves to make something great. Little did the members know, 2007 would be the death of Apple Not Asteroid. With the boys finally well known and having a reputation for melting faces on stage, the band fell apart. Adam Knowles (lead guitar) and his brother Justin Knowles (drummer) decided Apple Not Asteroid was not something they wanted to do anymore and for other reasons they left the band. Still striving to jam and make music, front man Tim Cross and guitar/vocalist Angelo Patino-Patroni are still in search for members to recreate the band into something the world has never seen before.
