The Chrono Beans are a type of magical seeds in Dragon Ball : AF Continues. They come from the fruits of time of the original tree, Daikaiju, that fell on Earth long ago. Under normal circumstances, the seeds should sprout and become a Kaiju tree, the ones that give life to the Kais, but if the gravity of the planet they fall is too strong, they will spoil and become normal Senzu Beans. They are very sensitive to gravity and even Earth's gravity is enough to turn them into Senzu Beans. If a person eats them, there is a 50% probability of an inverting-time effect or the unwanted time-advancing effect, the result being totally random. The time is only affected within the person who eats the bean and his/her immediate surrounding. Nothing else will be affected.
