He could feel the light side energies burst powerfully throughout the ship, and somewhere aboard the ship there was a single entity radiating it like a sun. And the apprentice guessed that this entity had, or could get, the schematics he was assigned to get. But before he could get to the source of the light side of the Force, he must pass through the dozens of people detirmined to stop him from accomplishing his goal. Walking around the corpses of the already-dead soldiers, he noticed that they were all bodies of rebels, not a single stormtrooper, not one. The 501st isn't half bad, Lord Starkiller thought to himself as he grouped up with a large squad of stormtroopers waiting to breach a door in front of them. "Private, plant charges on the door," the sergent ordered. "Stack up, and prepare to breach." Deciding to stand back and admire the squad's efficiency, he left his lightsaber at his belt, waiting for the explosion to erupt. The brief moment of silence was suddenly cut off with the explosion which surprised him, even though he knew it was coming. The squad charged through the door opening fire on the rebels positioned on the other side. "Hard contact, Sector One-Alpha, OPEN FIRE," yelled the sergent as he sprayed his Blast-Tech E100 rifle. The apprentice had hardly grabbed his lightsaber before the last rebel fell. The hallway they had busted into was much better lit than the one they had busted out of, as if they had been painted by two different people. The apprentice acknowledged this like the dark and light sides of the Force. While they were very similar, they were also polar opposites, same with those hallways. "You and your men are highly adequate, sergent," the apprentice complemented. The apprentice usually did not give out complements, nor did he often recieve them, but the 501st were worth breaking protcol for, on occasion at least. "Thank you, my Lord, we will not fail you." "It would be in your best interests not to." "Yes, my Lord." Interupting the meaningless consersation, one of the privates shouted, "Room clear." And after turning the corner he yelled, "Hallway clear." Another private yelled, "Sector Alpha, clear." After the sergent caught up with the verbal signals that his men were giving, he shouted in return, "Proceed to Sector One-Bravo." Moving down the hallway in crouched lines, four on each side, they moved down the hallway. "Movement Two-Bravo. Toss in an electrogrenade," the sergent whispered after looking right on his end of the hallway. The private behind him picked up a spherical object out of one of his waist pockets. He flipped a switch on the object and tossed it down the hallway. The small group of rebels, with their backs toward them, hardly noticed the metallic object roll toward them before it exploded and releashed waves of blue electricity. "Go Go Go!" the sergent shouted, eliminating anyone who was left standing. The 501st is making this too easy, the apprentice thought to himself. I'll fix that. "Sergent," the apprentice called. "Yes my Lord?" "Order your men to seal off the immediate area, I must go the rest of the way on my own." "It shall be so." Continuing on his own, he could feel the radiation of the light side becoming stronger. And so he pressed on through the ship.
