The TigerShark is a ball bearing string trick yo-yo from Spintastics, first released in the late 1990s. It was used by Joel Zink in the 1999 World Yo-Yo Contest, winning the World 1A Championship title. It uses starburst response, and has a wide string gap to make landing tricks easier. It had undergone a few changes here and there over the years, but the TigerShark is still a best-seller for Spintastics. There is also a special beefcaked variant of this yo-yo, the Great White Shark, which was first released in 2000.
