He planned to send an entire clone discovery fleet, but during a desperate time of war, he could not send a single squad of troopers, as their lives would have likely been lost finding it. He kept some information on it and stored it in the Jedi Archives.

Unknown to be the origin of the Force until 1,560 ABY, Jhan Skywalker rediscovered it in the Coruscant Jedi Temple, and from Obi-Wan's data, he discovered large concentrations of the Force, so ancient it was older than life in the Galaxy itself. It was also the origin of the Force.
