There are many things to consider when performing the technique, such as the distance between one opponent to the next, because if she strikes the first opponent, she will reach a certain distance from another opponent. Thus, Seitei's flow, rhythm, posture and timing must be precise in order to land a hit on the next opponent without being struck first or both Seitei and the opponent striking simultaneously. The posture must always be straightfoward, and not sideways, as the former allows one to be in clear view of their interval between the closest target. How she flows from strike to strike is only determined by the varying distance between the opponents. Like it's parent technique, the technique also pertains to the momentary lapses of awareness that are manifested in the opponent's min

  • There are many things to consider when performing the technique, such as the distance between one opponent to the next, because if she strikes the first opponent, she will reach a certain distance from another opponent. The posture must always be straightfoward, and not sideways, as the former allows one to be in clear view of their interval between the closest target. How she flows from strike to strike is only determined by the varying distance between the opponents. Like it's parent technique, the technique also pertains to the momentary lapses of awareness that are manifested in the opponent's mind. Extended further, it also embraces the concept of Kyo-jitsu. These momentary lapses of mind, and Kyo-jitsu, can be referred to as the 'kokoro-no-maai' (Mental Interval). The implication of kokoro-no-maai is that although the physical distance between opponents may be mutually advantageous, the mental interval possessed by individuals will determine who will have the decisive advantage. Thus, Seitei has to be both mentally as well as physically focused during it's execution, as a single mistake could prove fatal amongst a number of opponents. The range of the technique is determined by the Interval and, to an extent, skill of it's practitioner, and in terms of Seitei's prowess, it ranges up to an astounding ten metres. The more targets in the interval the quicker she can eliminate them, almost in an instant, without any regard of their number. Seitei's full use of the technique, however, comes when her target's are further apart, as she uses one target to get closer to the next, eliminating them with swift efficiency and no lapses in time, further aided by her special blade.
