In debt to her cousin, she managed to obtain work as a janitor at Feesku Bent Podracing Systems and as a waitress at Sherthy's Restaurant in the city of Flerauw. Having outlived her husband, she began volunteering with her daughter Teelia's charity organization, Caring Relief Intergalactic, a week after its founding. During the Clone Wars, she volunteered in the most dangerous situations, sometimes bringing aid to refugees before the battle on their world even ended. As a result, she was shot and killed by clone troopers who mistook her for a Separatist militant while bringing supplies to refugees on Norval II before the battle had come to a close.
