Canada Dry is a soft drink brand created by Canadian pharmacist John J. McLaughlin of Ontario in 1904. With McLaughlin's death in the early 1920s, a company by name of Sam. P. D. Saylor and Associates bought the company and brand name, thus starting the Canada Dry Ginger Ale Co. in 1923.
