Democracy Now! was the brainchild of radical Tracer Tong on Al'Badara. A diseffecting college student, Tong was angry at what he saw as injustices and perversions of socialism in the nation. Tong organized a small grouping of like minded friends and advertised his new party. Despite numerous death threats and many posters being torn down and vandalized Tong's party began to grow. Within a few years Democracy Now! grew from 8 Pro-Democracy College Co-Eds who spent many days playing video games and getting high to becoming a large and powerful political party.
