  • The Computer(of the Ancients) is a new in-game mechanic that has 3 main uses. Studying Monsters, Buying Weapons and Armour without crafting and Creating custom arena quests. The Computer will auto detect which monster you have killed and add it to the wiki(meaning you cannot know which monster to expect until you have killed it first) Another to note is that you cannot refer to the Computer as a source to know a monsters weakness unless you have fought a monster with a weapon that uses an element they are weak to. You can also buy weapons and armour without having to craft it however it will be triple the zeny and you have to wait 30 real minutes in order for the weapon/armour piece to arrive(no microtransactions). With the custom arena thing, you can host a quest to hunt down a monster up to 4 monsters. It can be any monster as long as it is capture-able and you have to have captured the monster in order to include it in the arena. Meaning if you killed a Cephadrome, you can't select a Cephadrome for the arena. If you have captured one Cephadrome you can use that Cephadrome in the arena but only once since you have only captured one Cephadrome. You can also have the option to select whatever arena theme from this list. (Small 2nd gen) (Large 2nd gen) (Water 2nd gen) (Tri 3rd gen) (P3rd Small 3rd gen) (P3rd Large 3rd gen) (4th gen) Lore: It's unknown where the computer comes from but referring to the almost unreadable text and various icons of unknown monsters that the Computer might have been technology used by the Ancients to keep information about the various species they have to tackle. It reacts to anything that's electric meaning Kirin and Rajang can be a main source to power the Computer(This could actually explain why Rajang and Kirin are so rare nowaday's as they may have been farmed for battery). I did create an image of it but it doesn't upload for some reason. So yeah I know bizzare concept but what do you people think of my idea?
