On October 4, 2012 in an interview with ZAM Network, Searhus was mentioned to possibly be the fourth continent added to PlanetSide 2, succeeded by Hossin. However, in Friday Night Ops: Episode 57, community manager Margaret Khron, reinforces the possibility that Searhus might be added into the game soon, however this has not been confirmed by Matthew Higby or any other of the game developers.
