| - [Opening shot : the New City at night seen from across the river] [Cut to a darkened office building which Ashley is entering with a LRAD drawn and ready as she navigates though the office while lightening flashes outside] [Ashley walks past a plaque declaring the offices as those of Aubanel, Wood, Smith Attorneys at Law] [A disembodied voice sounds from out of the dark] VAMPIRE You think you can kill me? [Ashley pivots back and forth trying to determine her target's location] VAMPIRE Many have tried. None have lived [The LRAD powers up and Ashley fires only to have it not work] ASHLEY Damn [Ashley quickly looks at the sonic gun and the vampire has disappeared by the time she looks up] ASHLEY Why the monologueing if you're so bad? VAMPIRE Didn't your mother warn you about me? [The vampire moves incredibly fast across the room towards Ashley] VAMPIRE I'm way beyond bad! [Cut to Opening credits] [Numerous Keepers of the Dead are invading Sanctuary] [Will and Helen are running through a hallway and Helen stops at a wall panel] WILL Magnus... [A steel door drops across the hallway behind them] WILL Really? HELEN When you keep monsters in your house [Helen rushes off again] HELEN We need to lock down the entire facility WILL Good idea [Cut to another hallway in Sanctuary with more Keepers of the Dead hurrying through in search of their quarry] [Bigfoot arrives in the elevator and throws up the guard door with a roar. The Keepers of the Dead all rush at him] [Cut to Helen and Will running along another hallway. Helen runs up to a picture and opens it to reveal another security panel. Helen punches in a security code but nothing happens] HELEN Oh for God's sake! [She grabs a 2 way radio mounted near the panel] WILL What now? HELEN Henry. [Henry is on the floor of the lab rolling about in pain] HELEN [over radio] Henry respond HENRY Uh, problems! HELEN I know, we're being over run. I need the security protocols for the entire facility operational immediately. HENRY [over radio] Witches... Bad DANU Now, I believe you were about to let us go [Henry cries out in pain] HELEN Go help Henry in the lab, make sure The Morrigan do not escape, or anyone else for that matter. WILL Wait, what about you? HELEN I don't like uninvited guests in my house. WILL How is that an answer? HELEN Go! [Helen proceeds down the hallway alone and picks up something heavy from a table. A Keeper of the Dead attacks and Helen downs it with a low blow and then a high blow. Another one attacks but Bigfoot appears and knocks it out the window] HELEN Where the hell have you been? BIGFOOT We need weapons HELEN We need Ashley [Cut to the lawyers office where Ashley is being thrown about the room by the vampire] ASHLEY Seriously, a lawyer vampire? The cliché factor doesn't offend you? VAMPIRE Not if you're the first. Hadn't you noticed? I'm not like all the other guys you date. [Ashley stabs him with some kind of spike] VAMPIRE These pants were new. ASHLEY and ??? {Ashley draws out a double spike but is distracted by a beeping watch which she quickly looks at to see a flashing 911 displayed. When she looks back the vampire is gone] [Cut to Will descending in the elevator and through the side Keepers of the Dead can be seen on every level] WILL Good career move Will. Real good. [Cut to a bridge over the river and a motorbike speeds into the Old City] [Cut to the upper levels of Sanctuary where Helen and Bigfoot are battling the Keepers of the Dead despite being vastly outnumbered. They retreat to the kitchen and barricade themselves in] [Cut to the motorbike zooming up to the Sanctuary gates. Ashley punches in several codes but can't get the gate to open] ASHLEY Crap! [Cut to the containment cells where Henry is still working on the security system] HENRY This is so unfair DANU The more you resist, the more you will feel pain. Let us go HENRY I don't work for you DANU Then you'll die. [Will runs in] WILL Danu, don't do this DANU We will not be prisoners again, to you or anyone WILL That's not what's going on here. We can help you. DANU You can't possibly promise us freedom. We are who we are WILL You are not evil! At least you weren't in the beginning TATHA We were created to destroy men WILL No. No, you were created to stop a war. Merlin changed you, he made you forget who you really are. Believe me, if he could transform a monk or a knight into something out of a late night horror movie, he can make you think you're something you're not. Look, please, believe me [Barricades drop down in front of the containment cells] HENRY Lockdown! [Barricades drop down in front of the containment cells] WILL Henry, Henry, you gotta unlock it. Henry unlock it now! [Cut to an unknown part of Sanctuary where the is a large circular area of water with bubbles rising. Four KOTD approach it and are shot, Ashley surfaces with two guns drawn] [Cut to the kitchen where Bigfoot is pushing cabinets in front of the door] HELEN Henry, status! HENRY The cells are secure but the upper levels and the lab are still vulnerable and the new guy wants to let the witches out. WILL I just wanted to talk to them. Magnus I was getting through to them HENRY Oh please! They were playing you WILL Are you even qualified to talk about this? HELEN Be quiet and listen! We are about to be overrun. Forget about the rest of the facility, protect the labs at all costs. And find Ashley! WILL Oh OK. How do I do that? Magnus? How do you usually contact Ashley? Is there some kind of Bat Signal or something HENRY Of course not, she's usually just ASHLEY [over radio] Will, Henry WILL Yes ASHLEY I'm in the building WILL OK great. So you're aware that we're up to our necks in crypt people right? ASHLEY Working on it [Ashley is running through Sanctuary shooting downs ghouls left, right and centre. She runs out of ammunition and begins hand to hand fighting] [Cut back to the kitchen where Bigfoot is fighting hand to hand with the invaders and Helen has two pistols downing as many Keepers as she can but more keep coming and they are overrun] [Cut to Ashley who is crawling towards her gun when she is grabbed and dragged away by the Keepers] ASHLEY [screams] Noooooooo! [Cut back to the labs where Henry is still working with Will] WILL Ashley? Magnus? Hello? HENRY OK, so it's just the two of us? WILL Yeah HENRY We're so screwed [Slow pan of a now quiet kitchen where dozens of bodies lay including a bloddy Helen and Bigfoot] [Many scenes of more and more Keepers entering various parts of Sanctuary] [Several Keepers enter the labs and find three containment cells open and empty and Henry lying on the floor. There is no sign of The Morrigan or Will. The Keepers howl and hiss in frustration] [Cut to Sanctuary end titles]
