The Boundary Colonial Police was the main law enforcement force on the colony of Boundary. Formed in 2459, soon after the colony's establishment in the aftermath of the Inner Colony Wars, the BCP was initially tasked with making sure the colonists were safe from bandits or various other petty criminals. However, after the beginning of the Insurrection in the 2490's, the BCP became more involved with attempting to stop Insurrectionist activity on the colony, ordering a hundred tiltrotor Raptors from Kociuszko Aerospace. This purchase was fraught with accusations of corruption amongst the police department, as the company had its main headquarters on Boundary, but further inspection by the Colonial Administration Authority concluded no corruption was involved.

In 2527, two years after the Human-Covenant War began, the United Rebel Front launched a coup against the CAA government. Those members of the BCP that did not join the Insurrectionists were quickly overrun without United Nations Space Command support. In the aftermath of the coup, the BCP's equipment was seized by the rebels, acting as the beginning of the Boundary Republic's military.
