Mr. Cropsey's Haunting Part 1 is the sixth episode of the TV series SpongeBob SquarePants: The Kung-fu Master and is the first part of a special series of episodes being broadcasted each week. It begins at Mt.Dusk where Master Chin's intermediate students, Lace, Ben, Randy, and Simon were doing private training in a cave near the peak of the mountain, then they suddenly encounter an ominous shadow lurking near the end of the cave. Lace was the leader of the pack and went deeper in the cave to investigate what the shadow was. Suddenly a dark hand grabbed his ankle and Lace slipped on floor trying to get out of the grip. Ben, Randy, and Simon tryed to attack the hand but didn't work, their attacks went right through the hand. Ben screamed "what is this thing?!", then a purple portal appeared

It begins at Mt.Dusk where Master Chin's intermediate students, Lace, Ben, Randy, and Simon were doing private training in a cave near the peak of the mountain, then they suddenly encounter an ominous shadow lurking near the end of the cave. Lace was the leader of the pack and went deeper in the cave to investigate what the shadow was. Suddenly a dark hand grabbed his ankle and Lace slipped on floor trying to get out of the grip. Ben, Randy, and Simon tryed to attack the hand but didn't work, their attacks went right through the hand. Ben screamed "what is this thing?!", then a purple portal appeared out of nowhere and the dark hand took Lace inside the portal. All 3 of them gasped and ran out of the cave and slided through the bumpy terrain of the mountain until they reached Bamboo Forest which is at the bottom of the mountain. They went to Master Chin's house where Master Chin was eating breakfast since it was morning. They told him that Lace got taken by a dark hand and the hand took him inside a portal. Master Chin told them it must have been Mr.Cropsey trying to take another victim. Randy asked who was Mr.Cropsey and Master Chin answered that Mr.Cropsey is a demon who kidnaps victims who enter his cave and don't release them until he is defeated. Very soon, news spread to the town that another victim has been taken by Mr.Cropsey. SpongeBob, Buck, and Beavis were in the Training Dojo doing a battle against each other until Master Chin opened the door and told them about the news. Master Chin also explained who Mr.Cropsey was and what he does to people who enter his cave. SpongeBob asked Master Chin "what can we do to help?" then Master Chin answered that they can begin by gathering Kung-fu supplies from a far away place in the north coast of the island. SpongeBob, Buck, and Beavis began their journey once they left the town and started going through a huge jungle full of wild jellyfish. After 45 minutes they escaped from the jungle and were almost there until a guard stopped them After a long fight they managed to continue and found a Kung-fu supplies shop and bought materials, the guard went to the store and told the merchant that the 3 students were safe with the weapons. Then SpongeBob, Buck and Beavis peacefully returned to the dojo.
